How the Bureau makes money

Nearly all of it comes from one thing: parents buying a personalized letter from Santa. That is the business. Digital letters are $6.95, printed and mailed letters are $16.95, and the North Pole Deluxe set is $24.95.

The Supply Office

Not yet. The North Pole Supply Office recommends things we think are worth owning, and right now not one of those recommendations carries a commission link of any kind. If that changes, this page changes with it, and the required disclosure appears on every page that carries one.

What a commission does not buy

It does not buy a recommendation. Nobody pays the Bureau to be listed, and no brand has ever seen a page here before it went up. When we say something is worth buying, that is the whole reason it is on the page.

We also do not print star ratings, review counts or prices we have not checked ourselves. Those numbers go stale quietly, and a stale number next to a buy button is worse than no number at all. Where we give a price we give a range in words, so it ages honestly.

What we recommend, and how we pick it

Everything in the Supply Office is a kind of thing rather than one exact product: a wide shaker jar, a sealing wax kit, a metal mailbox. We tell you what to look for and what to avoid, then point you at a search rather than a single listing. Listings go out of stock and get replaced by different products under the same link. A search does not.
