Accessibility
Last updated September 2, 2026
We want every parent to be able to order a letter, whatever device or assistive technology they use. North Pole Bureau is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What that means here
- Every page works with a keyboard alone. A skip link is the first thing you reach.
- Focus is always visible. We never hide the outline.
- Text and background contrast at 4.5 to 1 or better. Gold is used only as a fill, never for reading.
- Every image that carries meaning has a text description. Decoration is marked so screen readers skip it.
- Every form field has a visible label, and errors say what to fix.
- The site works at 200 percent zoom without sideways scrolling.
- Nothing flashes, auto-plays, or moves on its own.
The letter itself
The digital letter is a PDF with real, selectable text and embedded fonts, so it can be read aloud by a screen reader. Every printed letter is also delivered in that form on request.
If something is in your way
Tell us. Write to support@northpolebureau.com or reply to any order email, and say which page and what happened. We will fix what we can and, if it is stopping you from ordering, we will take your order by email instead.
